Indications
Remaprost Eye Drops is used for:
Open-angle glaucoma, Ocular HTN
Adult Dose
Adult:
As 0.005% eye drop:
Instill 1 drop in affected eye once daily in every evening.
Child Dose

Contra Indications
Hypersensitivity.
Precautions
Do not use within 5 min of thiomersal-containing preparations. Aphakia or pseudophakia with torn posterior lens cap or anterior chamber lenses; risk factors for cystoid macular oedema; brittle or severe asthma; history of intraocular inflammation; inflammatory, neovascular, angle-closure or congenital glaucoma; pregnancy, lactation. Remove contact lenses during use.
Lactation: not known whether distributed into milk; use with caution

There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women
Only use during pregnancy if potential benefits justifies potential risks to the fetus
Animal data
Reproduction studies performed in rats and rabbits. In rabbits, an incidence of 4 of 16 dams had no viable fetuses at a dose that was ~80 times the maximum human dose, and the highest nonembryocidal dose in rabbits was ~15 times the maximum human dose
Lactation
Not known whether distributed in milk; use caution
Interactions
Paradoxical elevations in IOP w/ other prostaglandins, prostaglandin analogs or prostaglandin derivatives.

Mode of Action
Latanoprost, a synthetic analogue of prostaglandin F2alpha, reduces the IOP by increasing the outflow of aqueous humour.
