Indications
NSC Nasal Drops Nasal Drops is used for:
Nasal preparations: Indicated for allergic rhinitis, sinusitis and different types of cold as nasal irrigation.
Dry nasal membranes including dry or irritated nose resulting from cold and allergy medications.
Removing thick fluid in the nose passages.
Eye preparations: Intra-ocular or topical irrigation during surgical procedure.
Adult Dose
Nasal drop: Nasal congestion As 0.9% soln:
2-3 drops in each nostril, 2-3 times a day
Eye drop:
1 drop in the affected eye (s) every 3 or 4 hours
Child Dose
Nasal drop: Nasal congestion As 0.9% soln:
2 drops in each nostril, 1-4 times a day
Eye drop:
1 drop in the affected eye (s) every 3 or 4 hours

Precautions
Nasal prep: If baby begin to cough after applying this drug, allow him to sit up or help him to sit. Precaution should be taken in patients with allergic to Sodium Chloride.

No serious allergic reaction has been reported by using Sodium Chloride 0.9% Nasal oe Eyes Drops.
Mode of Action
Sodium chloride is the major extracellular cation. It is important in electrolyte and fluid balance, osmotic pressure control and water distribution as it restores sodium ions. It is used as a source of electrolytes and water for hydration.
Nasal Preparation: Sodium Chloride 0.9% Nasal Drops moistures inside the nose by dissolving and softening thick or crusty mucus thus helps to remove the mucus from the nose and makes breathing easier.
